The site is within walking distance of a well stocked village shop and The Snitterfield Arms, that offers a warm welcome and hearty good food. Also within two miles of the park there are three excellent golf courses, The Welcombe, The Stratford Park and Stratford Oaks.

Cobbs at the farm is 400 metres along the lane and offers a collective of artisan food producers, a whole food café and farm shop. There is also a family fun area and animals to view. Dogs are also welcome.

Welcome Hills Vineyard is also on Kings Lane and they offer various weekend tours from May to September, see www.welcombehills.co.uk for availability. They do a lovely selection of wines including a fantastic sparkling if you fancy a nice tipple!
